DESCRIPTIVE MEMORY

The architecture is inspired by the search for a balance between privacy and openness, adapting to the coastal context of José Ignacio to offer a functional home connected to its surroundings. The house is organized across three levels: basement, ground floor, and upper floor, designed to maximize the relationship with the landscape. The basement houses a playroom, naturally lit and ventilated through a patio. This underground space becomes an intimate and functional retreat, separate from the main social areas.

On the ground floor, the design is organized around an internal patio that divides the spaces and allows natural light to enter, creating a fresh and bright environment. On the upper floor, this concept evolves into two separate volumes placed on either side of the patio, establishing a dialogue between interior and exterior, and enhancing views and connection with the landscape. The volumetric composition and integration of patios promote a relaxed lifestyle in harmony with the surroundings.
