DESCRIPTIVE MEMORY
Rooted in the idea of harmony between architecture and landscape, the project is located on a corner site beside a water canal, where the uneven terrain fundamentally influences the design approach. The house unfolds along the site’s natural geometry, embracing its constraints as design opportunities and generating a spatial narrative that adapts fluidly to the land.
A clear contrast is drawn between the two levels. The ground floor is wrapped in a black metal cladding that introduces a sense of rhythm and continuity to the façade. This cladding overlays the walls, creating a textured and robust base that anchors the house. In contrast, the upper floor is composed of two exposed concrete volumes, divided by a central patio that brings light and air into the heart of the house. The project plays with mass, material, and void to define a composition that responds both to the context and to its internal logic.
