DESCRIPTIVE MEMORY
The Masterplan project at Bodega Atamisque arises from the need to expand its services to offer hospitality to visitors. Established in 2008, the winery occupies approximately 30 hectares, being the first winery in the Uco Valley, located 67 km from the city of Mendoza.
Implementation considered consolidating the relationship with Atamisque’s existing winery and its olive courtyard, as well as proper orientation towards the mountain range to capitalize on the breathtaking views. It was structured into three main programs: a restaurant and wine club, a hotel with spa and gym facilities, and independent residential units.
The restaurant and wine club building is characterized by a single-level block with a spacious perimeter gallery of partitions, framing views and providing containment. Inside this gallery is a large glass box with a metal roof housing the restaurant and wine club, creating a sense of spaciousness.
The hotel, spa, and gym were conceived by leveraging the natural terrain contours, blending seamlessly with the vineyard and its surroundings.
The suites, designed in a bar shape, feature an extensive semi-covered gallery protected by partitions. Large windows in each room maximize views, and the location was planned to ensure privacy and orientation towards the mountain range, using the natural terrain contours for this purpose.
