DESCRIPTIVE MEMORY

The Albanueva house is planned with a semi-closed facade at the front, providing privacy through an intermittent rhythm of concrete walls on the ground floor that reveal greenery between their voids, and pivot aluminum sunshades on the upper floor that offer views of both bedrooms and a patio. The zoning of the sunshades and the diversity of their opening angles allow flexibility to regulate the entry of light into the house.

In contrast, the back completely opens up, framing the landscape with a view of the river that the garden overlooks. Both the gallery and the living room on the ground floor were designed without columns to maximize the feeling of spaciousness and to have the clearest view possible.
