DESIGN APPROACH

Located in Pilará, Buenos Aires, the house is organized through the superposition of pure volumes that define its architectural identity. The composition emphasizes horizontality and the interplay between solid and void, with the upper volume projecting over the ground floor to create generous overhangs and semi-covered spaces that mediate the relationship between interior and exterior.

Large glazed surfaces enhance the visual connection with the landscape, while the arrangement of the different volumes creates a sequence of open, covered and semi-covered spaces that enrich the experience of moving through the house.

The geometric clarity of the design and the relationship between its different volumes result in a contemporary architecture of a restrained character, where form, scale and spatial experience become the project’s main means of expression.
